A mother moose and her twin calves from last year, swim the river just to the east of the camp. It was Jake who heard and smelled the trio and was barking to alert us to see this event. What a great opportunity to see Nature in the wild! 

Spring is finally arriving at Beaverland. The ice is going out of the river, but still thick on the lakes. The sun is shining, the grass is riz, I wonder where the walleye iz?? Have a good week and watch for more information on Winter's retreat.
