A mother moose and her twin calves from last year, swim the river just to the east of the camp. It was Jake who heard and smelled the trio and was barking to alert us to see this event. What a great opportunity to see Nature in the wild!

Beaverland Camp was built at the turn of the century and became a fishing lodge in the 1920's. It is steeped in tradition and in those early days, those who came loved the wilderness and entered it humbly taking with them only memories - leaving nothing behind but their footsteps. Come and experience that same wilderness - changeless, but ever changing. Enjoy the perfume of the forest. Watch the sunset, count the stars. Relax! "Discover Our Old Fashioned Hospitality"
